He regularly worked with the leaders of large oil & gas companies on upstream asset management to meet availability, reliability and performance targets. He has twenty-four years of experience in upstream machinery and technology, with particular emphasis on power & gas. Prior to becoming a management consultant, Russell held a number of technical and managerial roles at Rolls-Royce Energy (1990-2002). He founded and developed the asset management service in the Asia-Pacific region for BP, Conoco and Shell. This was preceded by eleven years with ABB, GM, Atlas Copco and other companies in various engineering and consultancy roles. Russell holds a BSc in Engineering from the University of Salford and has many published works on technology. He became a chartered engineer (MIET) in 1989 and has an MBA. See Also: |
