We can ocr into rtf or word, pdf, any image etc. We need to store and retrieve these docs by either patient names, id or dob etc. The above is already available with us. If need be the coding for the same can be developed using what we already have. Apart from this we also need to integrate patient registration with the existing document database. For ex; real time patient visit would involve registration in the system, patient visits the physician, and till the physician uploads the content the visit is empty for the patient. Search feature: If the physician searches for a particluar patient he gets all his records plus a small summary of his last visit while performing patient registration it also needs to inegrate with appointment scheduler of that particular doctor See Also: |
