For this assignment,we want to build a 'mini-cloud' that works now for our first new community that we can attach to the intercloud later. In October 2007, we have built a prototype SMART Home in Ft. Worth, Texas and have signed up major companies that have products and services that our residents want with regard to energy efficiency, health care, business applications, learning, security and entertainment. We have been approached by several large technology companies that want to do the integration and develop the POC for us, but their software is proprietary and contains too much 'secret sauce', which will leave us having to license everything instead of owning it for ourselves. Instead, we want to find a young, bright person(s) to that can do this faster, better and more efficiently. We would like to discuss with you our plans and get your ideas and strategy that might lead us to work together to finalize this portion of our brand. Time is of the essence since our ground break for our first community which contains 854 homes is now targeted for 3Q 2008. Final build out for the community is 8700 units.
