I do remote or on site deployments of small (5 days) to enterprise (9 months) wide installations of MOSS 2007 or WSS 3.0 where we are involved in the full Systems Development Lifecycle:

1. Determine hardware and software requirements, design servers farms, intranet, extranet and internet topologies, availability and service-level agreements, performance and scalability; 2. Installation of MOSS/WSS including setup; 3. Configure web application authentication (NTLM, Kerberos, Based Form-based), farm services and Shared Services Provider and configure the farm to work with SSO or Kerberos authentications; 4. Integrate the farm with antivirus (Fore Front), Office, Mind Manager, Active Directory and apply iFilters (Adobe Acrobat Reader); 5. Administrate and trouble shoot application issues and work with Microsoft on problems and incidents resolutions; 6. Monitor the servers performances, monitor the logs, trouble shoot. We apply patches and service packs. We elaborate backups and disaster recoveries strategies; 7. Assist business users in the creation and management of their team sites; 8. Work with other IT team members and business customers on SharePoint projects; 9. Implement the information architecture of your site, sites and subsites, site navigation, web pages, collaboration sites, permissions management strategy.
