OBJECTIVE: FREELANCE WORK TO DRAW UPON EXPERIENCE GARNERED FROM A TWO-PRONGED CAREER IN SALES AND IN FINANCE
SUMMARY: Trader in both commodities and equities, via computer at home. Fifteen years in finance-related activities, primary caregiver for ailing mother, and traded from home. Extensive work was done in research and analysis on all investment entities. Used Web and hard copies as source for research and analysis activity. Twenty plus years in sales. Done from an office based environment. Track record of success in marketing strategy, new business development, training and installation. Trained and managed sales force in distribution network. Consistently maintained high closing averages and sustained growth. EXPERIENCE 1998 to Present I was the sole caregiver for an ailing mother until she passed away. Also traded from home, first equities, then futures since 2001. Have done some trading in Forex. Also have experienced good success in interest rates and in grains. While I have had some exposure to other areas of the futures markets, it is the grains and financials that have taken up most of my time and effort. Principle trading has been directional in outrights, with more recent experience in spread trading. I have met with success in both arenas. I enjoy analyzing a potential move, and then seeing it come to completion as the move is put on and matures into a profitable position. Some of these moves, of course, go the other way and may have a more negative affect on the bottom line. In addition to pure trading activity, I can parlay this experience into the more analytical and operational functions within a firm.
